[Kokoy] #Day 1, Log 1 - Seamolec Meeting

Hello, I would like to introduce my self first. My name is Kokoy and today is my first day coming to SEAMOLEC. SEAMOLEC gather us to have a meeting regarding our double degree master program in PKNU. On this meeting Mr. Gatot the director of SEAMOLEC Indonesia explain to us about the scholarship program in detail and tell us about language training, according to Mr. Gatot that we are the candidat of double degree master program ITB-PKNU must come n stay in Jakarta for 2 month before we board to korea to have language training. This training held to preparing and strengthen our English skill especially writing skill because we are going to write our thesis and paper in English. On this day Mr. Gatot, Mr. Ary (Our Thesis Supervisor), Miss Cahya (Person in charge for our double degree master program from SEAMOLEC), and Miss. Pauline (Our English tutor) come to discuss with us about details of the program. This is the result of the meeting as the following point bellow:

1. Preparing for English language training like reading, speaking, and writing skill. Especially writing skill. So, to enhance our writing skill the tutor ask us to write a log in our daily activity here in SEAMOLEC or during our training, one paragraph per day.
2. Learn to write science paper according to our research topic in our research labs. As for me, my topic is about Artificial Intelligent and Computer Vision. Reading as many paper as possible that realated to this topic for our references in writing paper.
3. Still working with our thesis team in Indonesia, finishing and continue our project thesis with team in Indonesia.
4. Make a schedule about what kind of target that we want to reach and list them.
5. Work harder than any other Koreans, come to labs first before anybody come and go home after everybody go.
6. Scholarship fee, facility, and amount of scholarship for every candidate will be different according to their source of scholarship sponsor. And we will get to know this information of scholarship after we receive our LOA (letter of acceptance) from PKNU this weeks then SEAMOLEC will process our LOA to any scholarship sponsor like LPDP and BU.
