Haritz - Day 2

This is our first English class in SEAMOLEC, the class started at 7 AM and was taught by Mrs. Dina Mustafa from Open University Indonesia. The class was a little bit empty because there are several colleges that takes leave for extending their passport.

Our first activity is introduction between Mrs. Dina and students in classroom,  and Mrs. Dina also told us about the culture in Korea. She said that Korean people are very disciplined and hard working, although not as disciplined as Japan. In Japan there is no tolerance for coming late at all, in Korea they will still remind you nicely at first.

Our second activities is to do some reading on Computer networking, it was scientific journals and have many vocabularies that i don't know about. So it took a while to actually grabs the main idea of the reading materials. Mrs. Dina then told us the tricks on how to read effectively, especially the use of abstract on reading materials.

Then Mrs. Dina taught us about how to create mind map, and why should we use mind map. Basically mind map is a way to help us organize our thinking, and represent it visually with tree-like structure, thus utilizing both sides of the brain. Mind map will help us categorize the problems or issues into several branches, making it possible to give more thoughts on each problems or issue.
