I woke up and first thing I looking for was my phone, and I was really surprised that clock in my phone displayed 6.20 a.m. Being late in first day is not cool! After taking a bath, I and my roommate rushed to SEAMOLEC. I was lucky that course activity was not yet started. After several minutes waiting, then came Mrs. Dina Mustafa. Course started by introduction session by mention their surename, nickname and origin town. After that, course continue to article reading session. That three pages article tittle was “Computer Networks as Social Networks”. Quite difficult to read I think, because there was many terms and words that I didn't know yet what was the meaning of those words. After fifteen minutes read those articles, then we must explain what was the article talk about. Mrs. Dina gave a clue for us that in order to find main idea in an article, we can find keywords in their abstract first (if there is any). In this abstract we able to understand easily what is the article talk about. By this, we able to know quickly wether this article relate to our needs for our thesis or not. After that, course continue to Mind Mapping session. Mrs. Dina explain to us about Mind Mapping material and show us wonderful mind mapping application examples. Back then, I was introducted to this mind mapping as a memorizing helper tools in high school. Mind mapping is very helpful tools for memorize and get a digest of an article. And in the end of session, Mrs. Dina give us an assignment to summarize and make a mind mapping of those article in reading session before. Fight!!
