Today is my first day english class in Seamolec. But i can not join my first class because i need to go to immigration office to extend the period of validity of passport. My passport will be expire on August 2015. I choose to extend my passport become an electronic passport. For the registration, i choose online registration. Its so easy way. We just need to browse the imigration website, and choose passport online application. Then fill the form, and there wil be an option like make new passport, extend passport, etc. After choose what option we will take, then there will be option in which imigration yo will extend your passport and when will you go to imigration to do data verification, take a picture for passport, and finger print. For the imigration office i choose an imigration office in south jakarta, to make e-passport for now is just can do in jakarta. And for the date i choose 13th january 2015. After did online registration, you need to print the form that email to you by imigration office and do payment in Bank. Actually i signed up to passport application with my friends. Today i arrive in imigration office at 08.00 am. It’s already crowded there and i got a 57 queue number. First i need to show my real documents and get a queue number. And then i wait for my turn. I finally got my turn on 09.30 am. It just take a few minutes to take my picture n finger print. And i need to back to imigration office on next Tuesday to take my new passport.
