Sevli's third day log - Mr. President

Second class held by Mrs. Aline Almandha, she teach video comprehension class. She show us a video where Joko Widodo the latest president of Indonesia give speech in APEC CEO Summit 2014 in Beijing, China. In the video, Mr. President initiated his speech by greeting the attendance then introduce Indonesia in term of geographical, population, and national budget. Further, he tell the attendance about channeling subsidy fund in Indonesia. He also tell the Indonesia government cuts the fuel subsidies budget into more productive sectors. Mr. Joko Widodo presented various investment opportunities, especially those that are relevant to infrastructure development. Starting with agriculture subsidies, government’s plan to use subsidies to build dam, fertilizer subsidies, and seeds subsidies, next sectors is small medium and micro enterprises, cold storage and boat engines for fisherman in fishery subsidies, health and education, infrastructure development subsidies used to build seaport, deep seaports, and railways networks expansion, last subsidies channel to mass transportation development, gives six big cities includes Jakarta, Bandung, Medan, Surabaya, Semarang, and Makasar. After read some news portal, I know Mr. President Speech received various critics both from attendance and from people who watch the video later. Like any other government action, this speech also receive pro and con. There is people who said the speech lacked vision and tone in presentation but according to Amien Rais who was serves as MPR speaker says, the delegations from many country that join APEC says the President is good enough. But I thinks whatever the President says in APEC CEO Summit the important things not the content of this speech or how good the speech but follow-up or realization from all program in this speech. Am I right?
