[Day 6] Learn Tables and Figures with Mrs.Dina

Today Mrs. Dina attend to replace Mrs. Paulina. We learn about Tables and Figure. Mrs. Dina gave us 4 articles, 2 article are about tables and figure and the rest is a paper about Computer. Mrs. Dina divide us to two group. Each group must discussed about one paper then search the implementation in another paper. My group got a paper about “Effective Use of Tables and Figures in Abstract. Presentation and Papers”. The other group are discussed about “Tables and Figures”. After discussion time, Mrs. Dina ask every group to presenting the resume in front of class. 

As a home work, Mrs. Dina ask us to write paper resume about the paper that we discussed before. The paper should contain at least 3 picture about tables and figures, then find the implementation in “Research in Computer science: an empirical study by Ramesh” paper. From the paper, we should disclosure our opinion about tables. For example, the paper shown an example of good table. Content of the table is present details of timeline and make us easy to understand the chronology of some events. The table is good enough, but I think it will be better if they put line between columns, so the reader will see it more clearly.

By the way, I got a new word in this class, “Propinquity”. The word have similar meaning with familiar, intimacy, chumminess and solidarity. From now I will write my new words and make dictionary in the end of the week. Hope it will be useful.
