On tuesday, I went to immigration office at warung buncit street south jakarta to change my passport into e passport. I went to the office at 09.00 am, but the office was already crowded. That means so many Indonesian people want to go to another country. The queuing was very long, I got the que number at 9.15, and I can enter the room at 13.20. What a very long queuing. The e passport required biometric scanning, so its easier to input the data in the immigration office at the airport. There are several country that not requering visa if only we have e passport, such as Japan. The payment of one e passport 48 pages is about 660.000 rupiah. Well, it is my first time making passport document in Jakarta, so far so good and there's no difficulty. In the next week, I will go back to the immigration office to take my newest e passport. So happy to have it, my first e passport.
